House of Kathleen has been blessed with 47 angelic children. In all we received 25 new admissions while 8 boys were moved from HOK to Victory House and 7 girls were moved to Rainbow House. New raincoats, sandals, umbrellas, tiffin boxes, etc along with stationary were distributed to the children.

In all we have 44 of the children going to school. New uniforms have been provided and the children look prim and proper. The children are excited and show great interest in being in the school. 

With the weather being what it is, some of the children were sick with cold and flu. Blood test revealed nothing serious and all have recovered.
 
Fire drill was conducted on 28th June 2010 and the importance of following orders in case of a fire was impressed upon them as the new children were confused about what was happening. We also keep the children engrossed with various indoor games and sometimes we play cartoon CD/DVD for them. All kids enjoy cartoons, don’t they?

We are  extremely thankful to the visitors who came and spent time with the children. Fong Weu-Teu Rebecca from Taiwan spent time with children and interviewed them. Volunteer Catherine also spent a great deal of time with the children, but she’s back home now. The children miss her.
