Due to heavy monsoons Children have been mostly involved in playing indoor games after returning from School. Children enjoyed watching Cartoon movies at regular intervals. A new child named Karan was welcomed into the House this month.

This month around ten children celebrated their Birthday. All the other children cheerfully sang a birthday song for them. The birthday boys and girls were very happy and excited to receive a surprise gift on the occasion.

A Fire drill was conducted on 21st August. The children were explained the importance of a fire drill. The staff and the children participated in the drill in an appropriate manner.                    

Due to pouring rain and wet environment few children were sick with viral fever and cold. They were quickly taken to the hospital and treated. They later recuperated with special care and medication. Some of the children were taken to their respective doctors as per their appointment.
Glory came for regular health check ups of the children. She examined them at regular intervals.

Staff meetings were conducted daily to ensure proper running of the Home. A new staff named Smirna has joined us as a trainee In-charge this month. Siddhi visited and trained Smirna and gave her few responsibilities to be handled.

Jayashri had to say goodbye to us as she had to go back to her village for future prospects. We wish her success in everything.

Reshuffling of the staff of Rainbow House and Kathleen House was done.
                                   
We had a few visitors to our Home this month. A visitor named Sapna Naik from Mapusa visited & interacted with the children and spent some time with them.
