A special ‘Thank you’ to Siddhi Naik, the HR Executive and the teachers of the Don Bosco School who graced the occasion and volunteered to be the Judge for the competition. The entire programme was sponsored by Lavino, Joanna and Shankar. The 1st prize was won by Nikita while the second and the third prizes were taken away by Sadam & Sujata respectively. All the participants received a consolation prize for participating. The children were told that it was not about ‘winning’ or ‘losing’ that really mattered the most but the joy in ‘taking part’. The children were enlightened with few words of wisdom!

A follow up on Lino was done. Lino has undergone a 10 day injection course and the doctors will let us know about his future treatment. Lino is discharged from the hospital after conducting a number of tests. Lino’s haemoglobin is quite low and the doctors have advised his parents to keep a continuous check on his health and diet. Lino’s mother has to visit Apollo Hospital and produce the required ‘medical documents’ from the GMC hospital for her next appointment at the Apollo hospital. Lino’ health is fine.
