This month few staff were interchanged. A previously working staff named Laxmi joined us back this month and assisting us at the House. Regular Staff meetings were conducted at the House and various issues were resolved.
The In-charge meeting was held at Rainbow House. Glory and Sunitha along with other House In-charges attended the meeting on 12th of the month. They discussed various issues related to the smooth running of their respective Homes. Thereafter a training was also held for all the In-charges.

Leader’s meeting was conducted on 14th August, whereby the girls put forward their viewpoints. Different issues were discussed and resolved. Glory escorted the meeting and provided the needed help and possible solutions for any query. Glory together with Sunitha & Leena had a discussion on qualities of leadership. The girls as well as the staff were explained the importance of a Leader in a group and also conversed with them on how one can become a good leader

A quiz competition was organised for the girls. The girls enjoyed participating in their respective teams and scored points for their respective team.

There were very few visitors this month. Mrs. Diana visited the House and interacted with the children. Maria Furtado came and spent some time with the girls. Official visitors included Godfrey and Siddhi, they came at different intervals and examined the maintenance and running of the Home.

Few girls were taken to Asilo Hospital for health check-ups and for treatment of minor illnesses.
This month the Girls were encouraged to be physically active during the evening. They accompanied Matthew Kurian for a nature walk as well enjoyed doing jogging and exercising with him.
