The House sheltered 58 children, three staff and four trainees during the month.  
Leader’s meeting was held in the Cottage whereby various issues like leadership skills and responsibilities were discussed with the children. As the children were very influenced by the topic on leadership, they were provided with information on how they could become a good leader.

Johnny and Francis attended the In-charge meeting held at Rainbow House.
Fire Mock drill was conducted and all the children and staff participated in the drill.
Matthew Kurian visited the House and took a meeting with the staff.
Siddhi Naik came on an official visit and examined the maintenance and running of the Home.
Ganesh ID 87 has been moved to Little Acorns Shelter. He attends his college as well as assists the staff in teaching the smaller children at the Shelter.

The staff of Tata Motors visited on the Independence Day and interacted with the children. They provided Lunch for the children an also spent some time interacting with them. Children drew the Indian Flag and made a beautiful handmade thank you card for the people as a token of gratitude.

Monthly Birthdays of the boys were celebrated towards the end of this month. All the boys cheered them up by singing the birthday song for them. Each one received a surprise gift too.

Few children were taken to Asilo Hospital for treatment. Siddhi and Gloria came to visit the House and inspected the children infected with scabies. The children were identified and given special and effective treatment for the wounds like neem hot water bath and applying medication for the infected areas.
