All the class teachers submitted the marks record of the second term examination of each student in their class along with an evaluation of the child’s behavior and a small report on each child. Third term portion has begun in full swing now, and the students attend normal classes in the morning and go for their activities in the afternoons.
ACTIVITIES: Card Making: Students who are in card making go for their activity every day in the afternoons, they are under the guidance of a teacher. Most of the students for this activity are the senior students who have an interest in art and craft.
a.MARTIAL ARTS: We had Martial Arts practice this week on Tuesday by kung fu instructor Mr. Graham. The students enjoy learning this art, and put in a lot of dedication to master it.
b.FOOTBALL: This week the students in football are practicing on Palloti ground everyday for the upcoming tournaments. The coach, Mr. Valentino trains the students well. Sometimes they practice at SNS grounds.
c.ART & CRAFT: We have a new instructor for Art an d Crafts, and in the afternoons the students train under her guidance.
d.MUSIC SHOW : On Monday, 16th Jan 2012 a team from the gospel band from USA visited the school to present their performance based on gospel songs. The various items presented were action songs, dances and songs performed in sign languages. The children got together in the act and danced to the tunes of all the songs and dances. It was a great fulfilling event, and all those who attended it enjoyed every moment.
VOLUNTEERS: We have two volunteers working with us this week, Lotta and Amanda. In the mornings they help in the lower classes and in the afternoons they help with activities.
