Our regular activities were conducted. Around 1275 Children were treated here and we also collected children from the streets. Our field work was conducted in and around Margoa. The deep cleaning was done and we conducted regular classes at the Good News Community Centre. We conducted the beach program.
Dilshad came and took classes at good news center and at the shelter too.
HEALTH: Follow up was done regrading the Bhasir's Heart Surgery at Hospicio Hospital Margao and the procedure of the Mediclaim has been done.
VISITORS: Shobe visited the shelter with her friends and interacted with the staff & children. Anita Edgar and Ruth also visited the shelter and interacted with children and staff. Colin, Edward and Renny visited the shelter and donated money towards the donation box. Annick visited and interacted with the children and the staff too.
DONATIONS: Mrs. Geeta Rajput donated chapaties regularly while mid day meals were provided by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan regularly.
                
a.GOOD NEWS     

We conducted non-Formal and Formal class at the  centre by Dharkshabanu. Around 295 children were present for the classes, while sewing class were conducted by Masabi. The monthly sewing test was conducted and most of them have done very well. We conducted literacy classes and the languages selected are English and Hindi.
On the other hand, computer classes are held regularly. We have received some more names of people who want to join the computer classes.
We conducted the community health work at the centre and distributed medicine according to the illness and complain. During the community health work, we got a case of a child who was suffering from thalassenia major. She requires repeated blood transfusion. Their total monthly income of the family is Rs 1000/- and so they cannot look after her and need serious help.
VISITORS: Mr. Michael along with his family visited the centre and spend time with us. Anita Mother and Ruth Bealing also visited the centre and spend time with the children.
