Career Opportunities

Working to help under-privileged children and the communities they come from reach their full potential of development is a challenging and rewarding career option. We at El Shaddai Charitable Trust are constantly on the lookout for motivated individuals who will help us help children in need.

We have requirements for administrative positions as well as in education (both formal school and slum schools), media, community workers and freelance professionals who will help us achieve our goals.

Our Work Areas

HOMES & SHELTERS

Our Day Care & Night Shelters provide the first line of refuge to children on the streets. Here they find daily nutricious meals and a bed for the night should they require it. Our counsellors are available to them to talk to and for guidance. We also try to place these children in local government schools so they get off the streets.

Accountability

We at El Shaddai are very conscious of our role as caretakers entrusted to do the will of God. We try to ensure that the majority of our annual expenditure goes towards program activities for children in our care.

Our History

When grandmother Anita Edgar took a last minute holiday to India in December 1996, she never dreamt it would change her life so dramatically.

She went on holiday to recover from long hours at work nursing and seventeen journeys driving aid trucks to Albania, Romania and Bosnia.
