ASHA DEEP (03/02/12 - Weekly Report)

We treated and average of 627 Children in our shelter as well as in the slums. Our classes were conducted regularly on different topics in our shelter and the slums. We organized Community health work in different places. All the children were taken for an outing and our field work and networking was done too.

CHILDREN:
A total of 113 children visited the Shelter and we had a daily average of 41 children during the month. School children were on Diwali vacation and most of the children and their families had gone to their native village. Non-formal classes were held during the morning time while after lunch we organized indoor games. Schools reopened on 22/11/10 and formal classes were resumed.

Asha Deep (October Update)

This month an average of 126 children benefited from the Shelter per day while 76 children were attended to at our slum schools. Around 25 children received non-formal education at the shelter and for the rest of the children tuition classes were held regularly.

Asha Deep (September Update)

An average of 55 children visited the Shelter and about an average of 80 children visited the slum school. Staff meetings were held in the morning as usual. A regular field work, non-formal education, tuition classes took place at the Shelter. During the Ganesh vacation the children enjoyed spending time with their family. Some children have gone to their native villages to spend the vacation.

Monthly Report (Asha Deep)

An average of 98 children visited the Shelter per day during the month of July. Around 9 children received non-formal education and 10 children received formal education during the morning session. While 96 school-going children received tuitions during the afternoon session. The children especially the Non-formal class children are doing well in their studies. The School children are busy preparing for their 1st term examination.
