We are 40 children and 3 employees who are all doing very well. Our daily routine staff meetings are conducted. Fr. Johnny the homes in-charge visits us and motivates us to work better. Our girls who are above the age of 12 along with our cottage girls attend church every Sunday. Our daily routine deep cleaning is being conducted for our whole house.
The girls are very active in all their work and all other house work too. Agnelo along with Fr. Johnny visited us and checked all our house registers and all the other documents of the house.

The month of September was an exciting month for the girls. During the start of the month, some of the girls prepared themselves for the Teacher’s day celebration programme. On the day of the celebration the girls performed their best on stage and received a huge hand of applause from everyone. Some of the girls went home for the Ganesh vacation and spent time with their family. They all came back refreshed after a weeks break. During the vacation the girls at Rainbow enjoyed various indoor activities and played different games.

This month few staff were interchanged. A previously working staff named Laxmi joined us back this month and assisting us at the House. Regular Staff meetings were conducted at the House and various issues were resolved.
The In-charge meeting was held at Rainbow House. Glory and Sunitha along with other House In-charges attended the meeting on 12th of the month. They discussed various issues related to the smooth running of their respective Homes. Thereafter a training was also held for all the In-charges.

 Regular Staff meetings were conducted. This month few new staff have joined us. Sunita has joined as a trainee In-charge while Ruth has joined us as an assistant 1.

All our children have returned and we now have a total strength of 51 girls all enrolled in the Shanti Niketan School. New uniforms have been distributed to all the children and they look very smart when they go to school. 8 children from the House of Kathleen have been admitted to the Rainbow House. In addition, we have had 5 new admissions. The schools started on 9th June 2010.

As the girls had finished their exams, they were busy preparing for the Christmas Season and so also enjoying their Christmas holidays. The girls were eagerly waiting for the Christmas and the New Year. Some of them participated in the Christmas party held at Shanti Niketan School. The House was beautifully decorated by the Girls and staff making the House look very welcoming.
