May Mela 2012
Please take part in our third annual nationwide meal to raise money to feed the street children in India. A ‘Mela’ is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘gathering’ and is often associated with a festival or celebration. We have chosen ‘mela’ because we are going to gather together for a meal to celebrate and enable the work of El Shaddai, particularly, the feeding of street children.
All you need to do is invite your friends for a meal, or just a coffee, and ask them to pay for it – to feed children in India.
Below you will find everything you need:
1.A4 poster with a space for you to enter your details
2.Invitation cards (there is the original Publisher version, but if you cannot open that, there is a Word version)
3.Four posters about some of our feeding programmes
4.Gift Aid Forms (please feel free to photocopy more)
5.An information sheet about how to pay the money in.
6.A paying in/information slip to send to us
