The New Life Fellowship  runs a Balwadi (Nursery/pre-school) in the area of Ambujwadi in the Malwani slum area.  100 children attend the school which is held in the morning in 2 room areas.  This project aims at providing community based rehabilitation to children who come from very weak economic condition. These children do not have a prayer as far as education is concerned. The parents are so busy just trying to survive themselves that they cannot even afford to give a thought to the future of these children. Most of these children are soon affected with various diseases as they have absolutely no access to proper hygiene. These destitute and orphans are rehabilitated through this project. Expert child counsellors tend to the emotional development of the children and food and basic health care is provided.
