Shanti Niketan is an educational component of El Shaddai Charitable Trust. It was opened as a non-formal school in the year 2001. We currently educate more than 250 children withing 7 different grades. It is an active learning centre for physical, mental, emotional and moral growth of children.

To work together towards excellence by creating a stimulating and exciting environment for learning, encouraging independence and personal responsibility and building good citizenship within a Christian framework.

We put great emphasis on our children becoming "the best they can be" in all areas of life.

Our caring and dedicated team of staff ensures all our children work hard and still have lots of fun. We are proud of all that we achieve in our school catering for individual children within a caring environment.

We aim to ensure that children have a happy and successful time with us. According to their ability or interests, the children are encouraged to go on to further education in areas such as apprenticeships in catering and mechanics or higher education, studying for business degrees, nursing etc. We aim that the education which they receive from us will break the cycle of poverty.
