Victory House was the first Home, opened in December 1997 at the hands of Mr. Duncan Watkinson. It was named to reflect the battle it took to organise its foundation and the future victories the children will make in their lives. As the first El Shaddai Home it was initially taken on a short lease as there was little money in the early days of the charity to buy buildings outright. It was situated at chapora near Vagator.

Gradually children started coming in, the first batch was of six children and more soon followed, and they soon settled into the swing and enjoyed the love and care heaped on them. We stayed and worked very hard with the children at this Home until in June 2000 our hard work and prayers were answered, when we bought the New Victory House at Saligao through the generosity of our sponsors and well wishers. It needed extensive modernisation and a large veranda was built in front, It has ample ground area for the children to play.

We have around 48 boys of around 7 to 10 years who live and thrive in the secure, homely atmosphere created by a staff of six who provide their food and requirements.
