El Shaddai ChildRescue was started in 1996 in Goa, India. With over a decade experience in the field of helping children from under-privileged backgrounds to develop their full potential, we have established a credable reputation both among supporters as well as with the Government who turn to us for helping in areas of women and child development.

Recognised Charity:

Our sincere efforts and reputation have earned us recognition including the National Award for Child Welfare 2008, presented to our co-founder Matthew Kurian by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt of India, at the hands of Ms Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson of the UPA and president of the National Congress party.

Accountability:

We at El Shaddai ChildRescue are very conscious of our role as caretakers, entrusted to do the will of God. We try to ensure that the majority of our annual expenditure goes towards program activities for children in our care. Our audited accounts are open to all supporters and well-wishers at our head office in Assagao, Goa.
